Level editing


Although the rendering is still super inefficient, spent the morning getting Tiled maps loading and drawing.


(The tile map being used here is not mine and is just a placeholder - the great little Caves and Rails tileset by Widmo)

Tiled is a tool I've previously skipped over, but it has become really great over the last few years I think. I particularly like the fact it now supports 'infinite' maps recorded in NxN chunks.

My plan now is to make more elaborate track structures, map my path splines to the track pieces and get a train moving around a more convincing and interesting world
